Before Gorman'sYou can see here a classic example of poor installation quality. The airflow was poor; the unit sat in the middle of the garage. To cut cost, the contractor not only made this a site for sore eyes, it was also dangerous. The contractor did not feel the need to vent this up to code. So the hot exhaust pipe was something you had to duck under to get out of the garage.
Yikes!
